# 3.x (current)

Human-readable release notes for the 3.x line — what changed in each minor version of @zama-fhe/sdk and @zama-fhe/react-sdk, in plain language.

Plain-language release notes for the `3.x` line — the current, actively-maintained release line. Here's what changed in each minor version, and why it matters. This complements the auto-generated [`CHANGELOG.md`](https://github.com/zama-ai/sdk/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md) (the full commit-level list) and the [migration guide](/protocol/sdk/migration/migrate-v2-to-v3.md) (for moving across a major version).

## Versions

* [**3.6.x**](/protocol/sdk/changelog/v3/v3-6.md) — Web Worker encryption offload, structured wallet-signing/permit-failure events, an interrupted-unshield resume fix, and orphaned relayer entries that warn instead of throwing.
* [**3.5.x**](/protocol/sdk/changelog/v3/v3-5.md) — Polygon presets, offline signing and decryption permits, at-rest transport-key encryption, and automatic KMS-context recovery.
* [**3.4.x**](/protocol/sdk/changelog/v3/v3-4.md) — An internal FHE backend migration to `@fhevm/sdk` (no API changes for `Token`/hooks apps), FHE runtime and client tuning knobs, shared transport key pairs for B2B2C, automatic decrypt-batch chunking, and a two-signature shield via `wrap()`.
* [**3.3.x**](/protocol/sdk/changelog/v3/v3-3.md) — `confidentialTransferAndCall`, automatic pending-unshield recovery, and typed decryption errors.
* [**3.2.x**](/protocol/sdk/changelog/v3/v3-2.md) — configurable, silent-by-default logging; upgrade codemods; and a `Wrap` event decoding fix.
* [**3.1.x**](/protocol/sdk/changelog/v3/v3-1.md) — `createConfig`, transport factories, the provider/signer split, the `Token` / `WrappedToken` hierarchy, and top-level FHE primitives.
* [**3.0.x**](/protocol/sdk/changelog/v3/v3-0.md) — the first stable v3 line: the high-level clear-text-in, clear-text-out SDK, plus upgraded wrapper and registry contract support.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.zama.org/protocol/sdk/changelog/v3.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
