# useWrappersRegistryAddress

Resolves the wrappers registry address for the connected chain. Uses built-in defaults (Mainnet, Sepolia) merged with chain-level registry addresses from the config.

Returns `undefined` when the chain ID hasn't been fetched yet or when no registry is configured for the connected chain.

## Import

```ts
import { useWrappersRegistryAddress } from "@zama-fhe/react-sdk";
```

## Usage

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="RegistryInfo.tsx" %}

```tsx
import { useWrappersRegistryAddress } from "@zama-fhe/react-sdk";
function RegistryInfo() {
  const registryAddress = useWrappersRegistryAddress();
  if (!registryAddress) return <p>No registry on this chain</p>;
  return <p>Registry: {registryAddress}</p>;
}
```

{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

## Parameters

This hook takes no parameters. It reads registry addresses from the `ZamaSDK` instance provided by `ZamaProvider`.

## Return Type

`Address | undefined`

The registry contract address for the connected chain, or `undefined` if unavailable.

## Caching

The underlying chain ID query uses `staleTime: 30000` (30 seconds). Chain switches may take up to 30 seconds to reflect.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.zama.org/protocol/sdk/api-references/react/usewrappersregistryaddress.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
